== Installation ==

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress. Make sure that your installed WordPress version is 6.0 (or higher). Please note: Halva will only work with WordPress.ORG and not WordPress.COM.

1. At first, after purchasing this theme please download the package from ThemeForest (to do this you must be logged in ThemeForest). Move your mouse over your ThemeForest login name in right top corner and then click "Download". On the Downloads page you will find all the items that you have purchased. This theme will also be here. In the next step click the "Download > All files & documentation" button and save package on your computer. Important: Please unpack the entire package after downloading! In the "Halva Theme with Documentation" folder there is a zip file for installation, it is called halva.zip.
2. Now in your WordPress admin panel, go to "Appearance > Themes" and click the "Add New" button. After that click on the "Upload Theme" button.
3. On the page that appears, you need to click the "Choose file" button and select the theme zip file: "Halva Theme with Documentation > halva.zip". Then click the "Install Now" button. The process of installing the theme will begin... After the installation is complete, click on the "Activate" link.
4. After successful activation, you will be prompted to install the required and recommended plugins: "Meta Box" and "Halva Additional Features". Click the "Begin installing plugins" link and follow the installation instructions.
5. Now you need to display your recent posts on your homepage: Navigate to "Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays" and select "Your latest posts".
